Maureen L. Joyce
Maureen Joyce is an accomplished artist, who lives north of her hometown of Toronto, in the thriving community of Bond Head Ontario.
Maureen spent 21 years with the McMichael Canada Art Collection and during her tenure she became acquainted with renowned artist, A.J. Cason and Doris McCarthy. These relations served to increase her knowledge, appreciation and passion for the arts.
In 1999, following a battle with cancer Maureen's focus shifted and she chose to pursue her passion for her art. She has spent the past 20 years refining her skills and works primarily in Watercolour and Acrylic. Her paintings have been in juried and non juried shows and has won numerous awards for her art.
Maureen was also co-founder member of the Bradford West Gwillimbury Studio Tour along with fellow artist Stella Wadsworth. She is a member of the Society of York Regional Artist, South Simcoe Arts Council and Artist of the Gibson.
Maureen enjoys a successful art career and her work can be found in private collections across Canada.
